OVERNIGHT CAMP
Through our partnership with Florida State Elks Association, SMILES ARE CONTAGIOUS is able to present this unforgettable opportunity to send children to free overnight camp at the Florida Elks Youth Camp. The Florida Elks Youth Camp is fully accredited by the American Camping Association.
The camp will run during the July 4th holiday week and is located in beautiful Umatilla, Florida, approximately one hour from Orlando.
The camp is extremely proud of its ratio of one counselor and one counselor in training for every seven campers. The camp has a stunning lake offering canoeing, fishing and paddle boats. Not far from the lake are the air-conditioned lodges that sleep nine with all the comforts of home, including fully equipped restrooms and personal storage spaces.
During their week away at camp, children will cool off in the 25 meter, 7 lane heated swimming pool. Cooling off is a welcome activity after participating in such fun-filled sporting activities including basketball, softball, flag-football, soccer, kickball, and volleyball. The camp is also equipped with a golf-driving range and miniature golf facility.
Some of the more popular activities include archery instruction and the challenge ropes course which builds confidence and self-esteem, through problem solving and teamwork.
